I have always been drawn to the story of Rosalind Franklin. When allowed to design for Photograph 51, I wanted to create a space that allowed the story to shine. Incorporating standard scientific symbols into the architecture, I made a space that existed outside of time, much like how Rosalind's story exists. I wanted to give the narrators areas to exist when not actively engaged in the scene, and the differing stair styles mirrors the differing scientific opinions.​
