Artist Intent

Working with a fellow student to create a collaborative design, I wanted to lean into the concept of decrepit, run-down, gothic architecture. Taking inspiration from gothic cathedrals and construction sites, the set exists as a playground for the various characters to inhabit. The garbage and ruins represent the direct commentary on society present in the play.  ​
